Scotland - Fife to Edinburgh

Dunfermline Abbey has a lot of history and there have been a number of religious buildings on this site. What they call the Old Church has what remains of the 1147 abbey with an example of its Romanesque architecture, huge round pillars carved with striking zigzag patterns.
